Canada Bluegrass is a cool-season, long-lived bunching sod-former that can grow in harsher areas, including areas with shallow, infertile soils. This grass is considered to have good palatability for both livestock and wildlife. It can be utilized for land reclamation and improvement of poor sites where more palatable and productive species fail to become established.
