About Creeping Spike Rush

Creeping Spikerush, also known as Common Spikerush, is a rhizomatous species that is very suitable for erosion control and restoration of wetland areas. This plant's roots also create a great habitat for beneficial bacteria making Common Spikerush an ideal choice for wastewater management sites. Ranging in height from 1-3 feet, this wetland species can thrive in seasonal and permanently flooded locations.
