About Bottlebrush Grass
Bottlebrush Grass is a 2'-5' tall, erect, cool-season grass that likes somewhat shady conditions. It is common in moist woodland environments containing loamy soil in the Eastern United Staes and Canada. It is palatable to wildlife and attracts butterflies and moths. Before the seed heads develop it can be eaten by livestock.
