Blooming from July-October, this plant thrives well in medium to wet soils and can grow in sun, patial shade or full shade. The Cutleaf Coneflower is known to attract insects and birds as well as native bee species.
The native flower is not suitable for smalller landscapes because of its rhizomatic root structure, however; because of it's root structure it could work well to prevent soil erosion.
