Fowl Mannagrass

Glyceria striata
Shade Tolerant Grass for Wet Areas

About Fowl Mannagrass

Fowl Mannagrass is a native, cool-season perennial bunchgrass. It spreads by short rhizomes and seed. This grass has no drought or salt tolerance, but will thrive in shade. It provides good winter habitat and food for wildlife. Thsis plant would be a good addition to pond or stream edges, as it works well for wetland restoration and bank stabalization.
