Great shade-tolerant landscaping Sedge
About Long Beaked Sedge
Long Beaked Sedge is primarily native to the northern part of the U.S.This sedge is often located in rocky soil, but it can thrive in moderate soils and tolerate low levels of drought, but it prefers moist soils and shaded or partially shaded areas. This is a great sedge for landscaping because of its deer resistance, and ornamental seed head, as well as its clump-forming nature. Long Beaked Sedge is a cool-season grass that will grow when the soil temperatures are cooler.
